The special brand of laid-back luxury found at the 4-star Axel Hotel Guldsmeden, opened in 2007, was key to our listing on the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller Hot List of 2008, listing the worlds´ 65 top new hotels.

The 129 beautiful and unique rooms are all different, and furnished in our own Balinese-inspired style - all have four-poster beds, and some have bathtubs or balconies. All rooms have flat screen TVs, dvd player and internet, and all products, furnishings and services are organic and/or fair-trade.

3-star Bertrams is Guldsmedens smallest and most intimate Copenhagen hotel, and the 47 beautiful rooms and lovely secluded courtyard is an oasis in a quiet area of Vesterbro, only 15 minutes´ walk from the city centre.

All bedrooms are furnished in our signature Balinese-inspired style with four-poster beds, some with bathtubs or balconies, and all products, furnishings and services are organic and/or fair-trade.

Family-run with an open kitchen and café area, where the signature lavish and organic Guldsmeden brunch is prepared, you will feel pampered and well taken care of.

Bertrams is equally well suited for romantic couples and business travellers. Families with children will be better served at the other Guldsmeden hotels in Copenhagen, where extra beds and appropriate services are offered.

3-star Carlton is the very first venture into Copenhagen, and this 1st-floor hotel is centrally located with a private and Mediterranean feel. Carlton has 64 spacious rooms furnished in our signature Balinese-inspired style with four-poster beds, some with huge bathtubs and balconies.

The signature lavish and organic Guldsmeden brunch is served in the cosy café. Carlton has 16 private parking spots for the use of guests at 105 DKK per day.
