The time has come for us to carefully open the doors to our newest addition to the family - the 53-room Carlton Oslo hotel is looking good, even though we are of course not quite as far along as we´d (optimistically) hoped.

The opening is therefore a soft one, and some building activities must be... Read moretaken into account. But spirits are high, and we are having a lot of fun with our new venture – it´s going to be such a great place!

For the first 3 months, we have an introductory rate – single rooms at 995 NOK, double rooms at 1295 NOK and our delicious organic breakfast is incuded. Another thing to look forward to is the multimedia solution – all the rooms, lounges and lobby will be equipped with state-of-the-art 27" Imacs for all-in-one music, TV, computer needs and in-house communication. The 53 rooms will, when completed, encompass single and double rooms, junior suites, a bridal suite with private sauna, and a family room with space for up to 6 persons.

The hotel will also offer a small spa area with steam bath and cold water tub, a beautiful elevated courtyard, and a breakfast café that can be reserved for smaller afternoon meetings. Open fireplaces and reindeer pelts from the Sami people of Lapland are elements that we will incorporate into our new venture, creating a Norwegian Guldsmeden-feel.
